An old style pub in the heart of Havant
The Robin Hood sits on Homewell, a back street opposite the church in the heart of Havant. The sign in the bar says it plainly: the only real pub left in Havant, with Fuller’s cask ales, Gales country wines and a great atmosphere.
Inside it is all beams, dark wood and a fireplace, with red gingham seats along the wall and hand pumps lined up on the bar. There are two televisions for the sport, a dart board that gets plenty of use, and a pergola-covered garden out the back for warmer days.
Regulars describe it as a place to chat and have some down time. It is a taste of the country in the middle of a busy town, and dogs are welcome.
